Construction manufacturers in India

Construction buys structural steel, reinforcement, castings, pipes, fittings and building hardware, and also equipment such as cranes, concrete machinery and earthmovers. Buyers specify materials to national standards, require test certificates and look for suppliers who can deliver steady quantities to the programme of a project.

• Materials that meet the standards in the project specification, with test certificates for each lot.
• Fabricated structures made by qualified welders under approved procedures and inspected before delivery.
• Consistent supply to the construction programme, since delays on site are expensive.
• Corrosion protection suited to the building and its location, with coating records.
• Products with clear markings, so that inspectors can check class, grade and origin on site.
• Documentation that the project consultant or client requires, such as test reports and approvals.

Ask any supplier for the certificate, and verify it with the issuing body or the buyer. A listing on this site is never evidence that a company holds an approval.
